DRUVA HAS spent the past five years taking its cloud-based data-protection product inSync to global enterprises, challenging IBM’s ilk. Last year, it launched Phoenix, which protects information residing in enterprise servers. In its maiden year, Phoenix brought in 10% of revenue. Druva, which gets 80% of its business from the U.S. market, added Indian clients such as Aditya Birla Group and Larsen & Toubro. It has managed to scale up, having raised less than $70 million since 2008, with a good share of clients returning and expanding orders.
