“With youth making up 65% of the workforce, HR needs a different, data- and social media driven approach,” says Gundecha. Jombay helps its 150 clients—including Citibank, WNS, and Nestlé—do exactly that. Revenue, he says, will be around $1 million in FY15. His latest product will address the issue of workplace recognition through a peer-to-peer programme. “Over half the employees in an organisation quit because they lack recognition,” he says. “Social media can help change that.”
