When beer sales went flat last year, the Bhatia cousins innovated. They created beer-infused chocolates, experimented with limited-edition products such as beer-infused candles and sauces and also plan to introduce craft beer cans panIndia. Started in 2016, Simba is one of India’s fastest growing home-grown craft beer brands, which had a turnover of about ₹130 crore in FY21. Available in 13 states, it counts the North East and South India as its largest markets. Already available in Australia, Simba plans to expand to New Zealand, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and North America.
