Despite a rough ride for the mutual fund industry over the last three years, Suyash has grown the business steadily to reach assets under management of nearly Rs 10,000 crore. This May, Fidelity, which has over a million investors in India, was selected as the best fund house by the Lipper Fund Awards. Under Suyash, one of the most respected people in the business, Fidelity's equitybased funds have performed consistently well. A chartered accountant, Suyash has held senior positions at Citibank as operations head, CEO of brokerage, head of investor sales, business development, and strategy and business, before she became the head of Fidelity’s India operations.
