Ghosh spent a good part of the year visiting towns and villages to closely observe how technology was changing lifestyles. "You cannot do this by reading reports," she says. Ghosh believes Intel is uniquely positioned to benefit from the government’s Digital India initiative and a thorough understanding of what’s needed on the ground is a must. In the past year, she has collaborated with the national and state governments, as well as original equipment manufacturers on a blueprint for the country's digital transformation. Intel has setup 100 centres across 11 states, which have provided training and access to technology to almost 175,000 people.
