Now, Bijapurkar has joined hands with two other retail experts to cofound Next Practice Retail, to provide end-to-end consulting. The firm is already said to be advising a handful of local and international retail players, and business is bound to go up once the FDI norms become clearer. With big names such as Walmart, Carrefour, and Tesco trying hard to woo Indian customers, Bijapurkar, already on the boards of several companies ranging from software to automobiles, just became more sought after.
