Menon, who has been at accenture for the past decade, has moved up the ladder. She now heads human resources for markets that include the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa, West Asia, Russia, and Turkey. It’s a new division that was carved out, given the opportunities present; clearly, this cluster has huge revenue implications for Accenture. Earlier, she was running the geographic operations for the ASEAN, India, and APAC delivery centres. Meanwhile, between September 2013 and November 2013, on Menon’s watch, Accenture made some big moves. In Bangladesh, it acquired a 51% stake in the IT arm of mobile operator Grameenphone, and in Sri Lanka, it partnered Brandix, a large exporter of apparel, to provide BPO services.
