These days, Apollo Hospitals is in the news because of the Tamil Nadu chief minister, who has been in the hospital for more than a month now. But outside of the newspapers, Apollo has been making quiet but very definite moves towards becoming a digitally-enabled health-care giant. Suneeta Reddy, who has been at the helm for a little more than a year now, has made it clear that Apollo will continue to be the flag-bearer for health-care services in the country. Financially, the group hasn’t done too well this fiscal, losing some Rs 20 crore revenue due to the floods in Chennai. However, Reddy expects to more than make up in the 2017 results.
