Adani Enterprises shares gained 1.75% to touch a new record high of ₹3,289.55 on the BSE on inclusion in the Nifty50 index from September 30.
Shares of major cement manufacturers ACC, Ambuja Cements, Ultratech Cement, Shree Cement and India Cement have fallen around 4% in the last five trading sessions.
Since it recalled a dividend 14 years ago, Shree Cement has become a solid company by focussing on cost leadership and conservative accounting.
