Zaveri has had a good year. NRB Bearings’s market cap crossed Rs 1,000 crore for the first time; the number of institutional investors grew; and Sundaram Mutual Fund, Catamaran, and SBI Mutual Fund added its stock to their portfolio. With 90% of vehicles in India running on NRB bearings, Zaveri’s been successful in pushing exports too. About Rs 150 crore now comes from foreign markets where NRB introduced 31 products last year for the likes of Daimler, BMW, and China-based Qoros. Her target is to push revenues to Rs 1,000 crore by 2017. She’s also the only woman founder of the newly created Ashoka University that has made news for its powerpacked team of founders.
