Suzlon Energy bags orders from Mahindra Susten, Nordic energy major
India's largest wind turbine manufacturer, Suzlon Energy on Wednesday bagged two new orders – one from an Indian subsidiary of a Nordic energy company and the other from Mahindra Susten Private Limited, the clean‐teach arm of the Mahindra Group.
The new order win from the local unit of the Nordic company is for the development of a 100.8-megawatt wind power project. "Suzlon will install 32 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each," the company says in a stock exchange filing. This project is located in Karnataka. It is a repeat order from a customer for the company's largest turbine rated 3.15 MW. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and supervise the project including commissioning. Suzlon will also undertake operations and maintenance services post‐commissioning.
Suzlon also announced a new order win from for the development of a 100.8 MW wind power project for Mahindra Susten. Suzlon will install 48 units of their wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a Hybrid Lattice tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each in Maharashtra. The company will execute the project with a full scope of supply, installation, and commissioning and undertake post‐commissioning operation and maintenance services.
