Most important role of CEO is capital allocation: Dixon's Atul Lall

A voracious reader, Atul Lall, CEO & MD of Dixon Technologies, shares his perspectives on leadership, success, and inner contentment. Drawing from his understanding of the Bhagavad Gita, Atul emphasises the importance of humility, self-awareness, and detachment. He further expands on building high-performing organisational culture through empowering teams and how strategic capital allocation, driven by data and long-term perspectives, can result in wealth creation. "Return on capital employed is an extremely important quotient for selecting where your capital is going to be allocated, what should be your strategy, what is right and what is not right," he says.

Sharing his mantra of life, he says that despite there being significant material successes, "What matters most is your inner satisfaction and inner contentment, which comes into the system through humility, looking at these things from a distance, and through a deep feeling of giving away."
