In charge of India’s largest private healthcare chain, Preetha, Shobana, Suneeta and Sangita—the daughters of Apollo Hospital Group’s founder chairman Dr Prathap C. Reddy—led the group's 67,000 employees to join the country’s fight against Covid-19. As frontline warriors, they had to oversee everything — hospital admissions to intensive care unit beds to telemedicine and remote patient assistance, to adequate pharmacy supplies for critical Covid-19 care. The pandemic crisis, they believe, revealed the character of the organisation built over the last 38 years.
