Entrepreneurial capability unleashed in past 5-8 years, new opportunities on rise: Scindia
India's entrepreneurial capability has been unleashed in the past 5-8 years, as the central government paves the way for new enterprises to come up and grow, said union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Addressing the winners and audience at Fortune India's 40 Under 40 Awards event on Saturday, Scindia emphasised that a lot of start-ups are coming from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, as opposed to being centred in metro cities, which "really tells you the story of India's entrepreneurship capability."
"The one thing that I would very much urge our entrepreneurs to look at is collaboration in addition to competition as they go forward. I also believe that in any marketplace... coming together, collaborating, sharing best practices also leads to tremendous growth opportunities," Scindia averred.
Underlining that India now stands at a cusp where her voice is heard and valued, and macroeconomic conditions improving by the day, the civil aviation minister told entrepreneurs that great opportunities are emerging in India, adding that "for entrepreneurs, time is now, time is in India."
