Archana Hingorani, 

Amid all the market volatility, Hingorani appears to have found a groove. IL&FS negotiated 24 exits this year, one more than last year. Cash flows from divestments grew almost 10% to Rs 1,170 crore. In volume terms, such deals were up nearly 100% over the past two years. Hingorani, who has been a member of the Investment Commission Board of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, was recently elevated to co-chair. Her other interest: Teaching corporate finance to students in Chile and Ecuador. Hingorani, who holds a Ph.D. in the subject from the University of Pittsburgh and worked as a teacher in the U.S. in an earlier avatar, has been making time for this for almost a decade.
