If VC major Sequoia had to demonstrate what cloud-based software firms from India could achieve, it would point to portfolio company Druva. The company was founded in 2008 to provide data protection to an increasingly mobile workforce. By 2011, Singh had packed his bags and settled down in the Bay Area. With 340 employees, Druva has grown a reputation for strong IP. Besides data protection, it provides disaster and back-up recovery solutions to more than 3,000 customers globally. More than 80% of its revenue comes from the U.S.
