Roopa Kudva, 

In 2015, Kudva changed her career path at age 50 and joined social impact fund Omidyar Network after 23 years at ratings agency CRISIL. In her third full year at Omidyar, she has clearly pushed the needle on the fund’s India focus. It is among the top three early-stage investors in the country this year. It intends to invest $50-60 million a year going forward. Under her leadership, Omidyar has undertaken the world’s largest slum titling project, and is mapping slums in Odisha. It has also launched India’s first civic tech accelerator programme.
