Have big vision in targets, not spending: Murthy to startups
Infosys co-founder N.R.Narayana Murthy said that entrepreneurs must live like saints, think like scholars and act like warriors. Addressing Fortune India 40 under 40 awards ceremony in Bengaluru on October 6, Murthy said, "What it means is when you are building your company, please embrace frugality, please embrace austerity. Have a big vision, but the big vision should be in targets, achievements, not in spending. Second think about your idea very deeply, very carefully before you start pitching it. Make sure your idea has a differentiated business value to the customer," Murthy said.
