Pallavi Gupta,
Co-Founder, Mast Kalandarage: 37
Gupta and her husband struggled to find food to their taste when they moved to Bangalore in the early 2000s to be part of the IT revolution. By 2006, they had spotted enough demand to start a North Indian quick-service restaurant (QSR). Over $11 million in funding later, Mast Kalandar is in four cities with 67 restaurants. Last year alone, it added 24 outlets. One of the few venture-funded QSRs in the country, the chain is looking to raise fresh funds and expand to newer geographies.
